This Privacy Policy describes how iPTV Player + (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) handles information when you use our app on iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV (tvOS). We respect your privacy and aim to collect only what is necessary to provide and improve the service.

1. Information We Collect and Use

Information stored on your device (not on our servers):

IPTV / M3U credentials: Server URL, username, and password (if you choose to save them) are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit or store these on our servers.
Favorites, watch history, and playback progress: Stored on your device so we can show “Continue Watching” and your saved favorites. If you enable iCloud sync, this data is synced via your Apple ID across your devices; we do not have access to the content of that data.
App preferences: Language, theme, and similar settings are stored on your device.

Information that may be sent to third-party services:

Subscription and in-app purchases: Handled by Apple and, where used, RevenueCat. Purchase and subscription status may be processed by these services according to their privacy policies. We do not receive your payment details.
Movie and series metadata (e.g. TMDb): When you view movie or series info, the App may request metadata (titles, images, descriptions) from third-party APIs. Such requests may include identifiers of the content you are viewing, not your personal identity.
App functionality: We may use services for things like in-app announcements or analytics to improve the App. Where we do, we aim to minimise identifiable data and comply with applicable law.

2. iCloud Sync

If you turn on iCloud sync, data such as favorites and watch progress is stored in your personal iCloud account and synced across your devices. This is governed by Apple’s iCloud and privacy terms. We do not read or use the contents of your iCloud data for our own purposes.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or store your IPTV passwords on our servers. We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising targeting beyond what may be implied by third-party SDKs (e.g. ad networks), which have their own policies.

4. Third-Party Services

The App may use or link to:

Apple: App Store, in-app purchases, iCloud, and device APIs — subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat: For subscription management — see RevenueCat’s privacy policy for how they process data.
TMDb (The Movie Database): For film and series metadata — see TMDb’s terms and privacy policy.
Other providers: Such as those used for streaming playback, analytics, or ads. Their use of data is governed by their respective privacy policies.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Data stored only on your device (credentials, favorites, history) remains until you delete the App or use in-app options to clear data. When you delete the App, that local data is removed. For data held by third-party services, retention is governed by their policies.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

7. Security

We rely on device and platform security (e.g. Apple’s) for data stored on your device. Credentials and sensitive data are not sent to our servers. You are responsible for keeping your device and Apple ID secure.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. For data stored only on your device, you can delete it by clearing app data or uninstalling the App. For data processed by third parties, you may need to use their tools or contact them. 9. International Transfers

If you use the App from outside the developer’s country, your data may be processed in or transferred to other countries. We and our service providers may use servers in different jurisdictions; we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards where required by law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
